Separation & Divorce
Judicial separation is a first step process while divorce is a two-step process. In judicial separation, if the ground for it are satisfied by the court then it is granted, but in case of divorce, reconciliation attempt first and then ordered for divorce. Judicial separation can also be the ground for divorce.
Child Custody
POWER OF THE COURT- SECTION 26(HINDU MARRIAGE ACT) - It can be derived that the court has the power to grant custody of a Minor Child and thereafter, at any time when the court deems fit, can revoke the same, subject to what the child wishes and other factors which are deemed fit for their welfare.
Child Support
Child maintenance in India is recognised under Section 125 CrPC. It has been provided that the child can claim maintenance from the father in India. Section 26 of the Hindu Marriage Act also provides for maintenance of child under Hindu law.
Trademark & Copyright Registration
A copyright is essentially a right not to copy someone’s work. A copyright gives the owner of the subject an exclusive right over his work. If a work is protected by copyright, no one can imitate copy or reproduce the original work in any other way. A term of copyright in India is 60 years.
